Any Further NHS Services You May Need

At The Family Chemist, our mission goes beyond simply dispensing prescriptions; we’re committed to supporting your wider health and well-being. While we’re always here to provide guidance and medication, we understand that your health needs may sometimes require more specialist support. That’s where signposting comes in. It’s one more way we make sure you get the right care, exactly when you need it.

Signposting is all about connecting you to the right service at the right time. If you come to us with a health concern, whether it’s something minor or something more complex, we’ll always do our best to provide clear and helpful advice. If it turns out that your needs extend beyond what we can offer in the pharmacy, for example if you’re struggling with your mental health, need help managing a long-term condition, or have symptoms that require further medical investigation, we’ll make sure you’re pointed in the right direction.

This could mean sending you to your GP. Or pointing you to a walk-in clinic. Sometimes, we’ll signpost you to a specialist NHS service that can help or online resources you may find helpful. We’ll guide you there. We know the NHS can feel confusing at times. That’s why we’re here to make it easier. You don’t have to figure it out alone. Whatever your concern, we’ll help you take the next step with confidence.

We want to make sure you always feel supported. Even if we don’t have all the answers, we’ll work hard signposting you to help you find them. Our goal is always to act in your best interest, making your health and peace of mind our top priorities.

At The Family Chemist, you’re never just a prescription, you’re a valued member of our community. If you need support, advice or someone to point you in the right direction, we’re here to help.
