At The Family Chemist, we strive to offer our customers affordable private care with 5-star service and great products, we regularly check our prices against leading competitors to ensure you’re getting the best value for money…guaranteed!

How does it work?

If you find a prescription medication at a lower price from a UK registered and regulated online pharmacy with the same sale conditions, we will price match or refund the difference within 14 days. Take a look for yourself. We guarantee we will not be beaten in price.

How to make a claim?

When making a claim, you must ensure that the product you have found has the same brand, and quantity and is in stock. The product excludes any special offers/discounts and should include the same comparable postage (Tracked 24 or special next-day delivery guaranteed 1 pm).

Please email [email protected] with all relevant information about your claim:

  • Name of the competitor including website address.
  • The dates that the competitor’s price is available.
  • Proof of competitor’s price; and
  • URL to the relevant lower-priced item.
What do we mean by “same sale” conditions?

The competitor needs to be selling the products on the same terms as we do to enable you to claim your low-price guarantee:

  • The competitor must have the items in stock.
  • The products must be identical, same brand, model, size, weight, colour, condition, specifications etc.
  • The competitor’s product must be brand new and in its original packaging.
  • The time for delivery must be equivalent to our delivery times.
  • If delivery is included in your delivery from us then we take into account any delivery charges of our competitor;
  • The payment terms need to be the same.
  • The pharmacy must be registered with the GPhC and the products sourced from a MHRA approved wholesaler.
We do not offer our low price guarantee in respect of the price of products where:
  • the competitor sells on auction websites, price comparison websites or is in administration or closing down;
  • the competitor’s price is based on a bulk discount or is part of a special promotion, bonus or free offer;
  • the competitor’s price is/has a typographical error;
  • the competitor’s price is below our cost price.

What happens next?

The Family Chemist will review your claim and if accepted we will refund any difference.
