Where Do We Deliver NHS Prescriptions To?

We’re proud to offer free NHS prescription delivery across the entire UK, no matter where you live. Whether you’re based in a busy city, a quiet rural village, or somewhere in between, our goal is to make receiving your medication as easy and convenient as possible.

With our online pharmacy service, you don’t need to travel, queue, or worry about missing out on important medication. We’ll deliver your NHS prescriptions safely and securely, straight to your door, or any other UK address you choose.

Who Can Use our NHS Service?

While we are only able to dispense NHS England prescriptions, we can deliver them anywhere within the UK (exceptions apply for prescriptions containing Controlled Drugs). That means patients registered with a GP in England can benefit from our service, even if they are temporarily staying in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, or elsewhere within the UK.

Flexible Delivery Options

We understand that life doesn’t always happen in one place. That’s why we’re flexible when it comes to delivery locations. You can choose the delivery address that suits you best, and update it at any time through your The Family Chemist account dashboard.

We deliver to:

  • All residential addresses in the UK
  • Workplaces (if appropriate and secure)
  • Care homes or nominated carer addresses
  • Student accommodation
  • Temporary addresses (just let us know in advance)

If your delivery address isn’t your home, that’s absolutely fine. Simply update your delivery details before your next prescription is due, and we’ll ensure your medication is posted to the correct location.

What About Delivery Costs?

There are no hidden fees or delivery charges. Delivery is 100% free for all NHS prescriptions, and we use Royal Mail to ensure your package arrives safely and on time.

Your medication will arrive in plain, discreet packaging, so your privacy is always protected.

No matter where you are in the UK, The Family Chemist is here to make managing your NHS prescriptions simple, secure, and stress-free.
