Hedrin 4% Lotion is a clinically proven head lice treatment that works physically to eliminate lice without the use of traditional insecticides.

Hedrin 4% Lotion is a highly effective treatment for head lice in adults and children aged 6 months and over. It works over an 8hr period using a physical mode of action killing both head lice and the eggs. Getting rid of the entire infestation rather than just the live lice.
This lotion is easy to apply, and should be left on the hair overnight, allowing the active ingredient to work to its fullest. After seven days, a second application should be used to ensure that any surviving eggs are also eliminated.

For adults and children aged 6 months and older:
- Apply sufficient lotion evenly over dry hair ensuring that the scalp is fully covered.
- Work into the hair spreading the liquid evenly from the roots to tips.
- Allow the hair to dry naturally.
- Leave on the hair for at least 8hrs or overnight.
- Wash the hair with normal shampoo, rinse thoroughly with water and dry.
For external use on the hair only.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 6 months old.
- Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients.
- Avoid contact with your eyes. If you accidentally get any lotion in the eye, flush with water.
- Keep hair away from sources of naked flame while using Hedrin.
- Hedrin Lotion can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Storage
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- If Hedrin is spilled, take precaution as this may cause a slip hazard.
Common side effects can include:
- Flaking of the scalp
- Itching
- Irritation (usually if applied on broken skin)
Uncommon side effects can include:
- Allergic reactions such as rash or swelling. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical attention.
