Cystopurin Sachets are a two day cystitis treatment designed to offer relief from the symptoms of mild urinary tract infections, such as burning and stinging when passing urine, and the increased frequency of the need to urinate. Containing the active ingredient potassium citrate, Cystopurin works by neutralising the urine making it less acidic. This helps to reduce the irritation and discomfort in the bladder that makes urinating more uncomfortable.
Suitable for adults and children over 6 years old, Cystopurin is a fast and effective option when first signs of cystitis appear. Each pack contains six cranberry flavoured sachets, providing the full two day course. A convenient choice for women who want effective, fast relief without a prescription.

Potassium citrate 3g
Other ingredients
Mannitol (E421), citric acid (E330), aspartame (E951), cranberry flavour (flavour contains natural cranberry extracts with maltodextrin, silicon dioxide (E551), carmine (E120) and triacetin (E1518)).
Adults and children over 6 years old:
- Dissolve one sachet in approx. 200ml of cold water to drink.
- Drink one sachet dissolved in water three times a day for two days.

Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
- Not suitable for men.
- This treatment is not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not take if you are allergic to potassium citrate or any other ingredients.
- Do not take if you suffer from heart disease, or have history of kidney disease.
- Consult a GP if your urine is dark or cloudy, or has blood in it.
- Consult a GP if you have stomach, groin or back pain.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Common side effects can include:
- Stomach discomfort
- Mild nausea
- Needing to urinate more frequently
Rare side effects can include:
- Allergic reaction (such as a sudden rash, or swelling). If this occurs stop taking this medicine and seek urgent medical attention.
