EpiPens and Jext for Schools
Adrenaline pens can provide vital emergency support for pupils or teachers at risk of anaphylaxis. Our range includes EpiPens, and Jext auto-injectors, helping schools stay prepared for emergencies.
Adrenaline auto-injectors, also known as adrenaline pens such as EpiPen or Jext, are emergency medicines used to treat anaphylaxis reactions; a severe allergic reaction that can happen quickly and may be life-threatening.
For schools, having spare adrenaline pens available can help protect students and teachers if their own pen is not available. With The Family Chemist, you can order spare pens for emergency backup without a prescription.
Simply select the pen you are wanting to order, and upload a signed letter from the headteacher or principal of the school or institution.
You then need to send the physical copy of this signed letter to our office within 2 working days of the order. The address can be found on our contact page.
The written request must be in line with the Department of Health Guidance on school letter headed paper and include:
- The name of the school
- The date of request
- The purpose for the order
- The specific named pen, strength, and quantity that is required
- The full name and signature of the headteacher or principal
