 Ordering your Regular Medication Prescriptions

Ordering your repeat NHS prescriptions has never been easier. At The Family Chemist, we streamline the entire process so you can get your regular medications quickly and hassle-free. By nominating us as your pharmacy, your GP can send your electronic prescriptions directly to us. This lets you reorder your repeat medications smoothly. We then deliver them straight to your door, saving you time and effort every step of the way.

How to Order your NHS Prescription

  1. Nominate Us as Your Pharmacy.

Start easily. Just nominate The Family Chemist as your preferred pharmacy. You can do this directly through your GP or by filling out our online Sign-Up form. When you nominate us as your pharmacy, you notify your GP to send your NHS Electronic Prescriptions directly to us once they’re ordered. This electronic nomination ensures a seamless and secure transfer of your prescription information.

  2. Request Your Medication.

Keep an eye on your medication supply, and when you’re about a week away from running out, request a prescription from your GP. You can do this using your repeat slip attached to your prescription, by visiting your GP in person, or via the NHS app to order. Once your GP approves the request, they’ll send your prescription directly to us through the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). There’s no need for paper prescriptions; everything is handled securely online.

  3. We Dispense and Deliver Your Medication.

Our expert pharmacy team carefully reviews your NHS prescription in order to ensure everything is accurate and appropriate. We then dispense your medication with the highest standard of care. To make things even easier, we then securely package your medication and deliver them straight to your door via Royal Mail. The best part? It’s completely free of charge and you’ll receive regular updates, so you always know when your medicine is on its way.

Let us take the hassle out of ordering your NHS regular prescriptions. With The Family Chemist, you enjoy a seamless, secure, and completely free delivery service. We help keep you well-stocked with your essential medications. Complete our Sign Up form, and experience the peace of mind that comes with reliable pharmacy care, right at your fingertips.
