How to use it
Sharps Bins are designed for safe disposal of your pen needles once they have been used.
1. Carefully remove your needle from your pen.
2. Drop the needle directly into the opening of the sharps bin.
3. Once your bin is full close the lid and press until you hear/feel the click to lock your bin.
What should I do with my Sharps Bin once it is full?
Once your sharps bin is full and has been sealed, you should never dispose of it in your general household waste. Instead, follow your local disposal guidelines. This may include:
- Returning your bin to a local participating pharmacy.
- Arranging a collection through your local council’s clinical waste service.
Does a Sharps Bin come with my order?
A sharps bin is not automatically included with every order from The Family Chemist.
If one is required for orders of Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Liraglutide, then these must be purchased separately.
