Pirilieve tablets contain fexofenadine, an antihistamine that helps to relieve the symptoms of allergies and hay fever. By blocking the action of histamine, a natural chemical release by the body during an allergic reaction, Pirilieve can reduce inflammation and typical allergy symptoms triggered by pollen, dust, and other allergens.
Symptoms such as itchy eyes, sneezing, and blocked noses are a thing of the past with Pirilieve; allowing you to enjoy the summer more comfortably.
Active Ingredients
Fexofenadine hydrochloride 120mg
Other Ingredients
Microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, maize starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, macrogol 4000, iron oxide yellow (E172), and iron oxide red (E172).
Adults and children ages 12 years and older:
- Take one tablet daily with water before a meal.
For oral use only. Do not take more than one tablet in a 24hr period.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
- Do not take if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any other ingredients.
- Tablets may cause drowsiness, do not drive if unfamiliar with tablets effect on you.
- Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not take if you have a history of liver or kidney problems.
- Avoid taking fexofenadine with any indigestion treatment as it can affect absorption.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Common side effects can include:
- Headache
- Drowsiness
- Feeling sick (nausea)
- Dizziness
Uncommon side effects can include:
- Difficulty sleeping (insomnia)
- Sleeping disorders (such as bad dreams)
- Nervousness
- Diarrhoea
