Overview

Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo is a gently cleansing formula designed to help manage cradle cap and support a healthy scalp. Suitable from birth, it helps improve the appearance of dry, flaky patches while keeping your baby’s scalp clean and comfortable. Massage a small amount into your baby’s hair to help restore the scalp to its natural condition. Cradle cap is very common and usually harmless, but this shampoo offers a simple way to manage visible symptoms. Formulated with cleansing surfactants, including sodium lauryl ether sulpho-succinate and sodium lauryl ether sulphate, it works effectively to lift flakes and maintain a clean, balanced scalp.

Ingredients

Sodium lauryl ether sulpho-succinate and sodium lauryl ether sulphate are cleansing surfactants, proven to be effective in the treatment of cradle cap.

Usage

Use from birth:

Use two shampoo applications of between 2–3ml.Repeat at each bath time until the scalp is clear, then use as necessary.
Wet the baby’s head with warm water.
Squeeze a little Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo onto your palm and massage gently but firmly over the entire scalp.
Do not be afraid of touching the soft area of the scalp (fontanelle).
Avoid excess massaging and hot water.
Rinse off and repeat application.
Rinse well and gently dry.
Do not try to remove the cradle cap by picking at it.

Warnings and Cautions

Precautions

Suitable for all ages.
We advise all parents to patch test 24 hours before application of the shampoo to check for allergies.
Do not use if your baby is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Do not use if the skin on the scalp is broken.
Do not use if there are signs of scalp infection.
Do not use this shampoo alongside others as this can make skin very dry.
Avoid direct contact with eyes.

Storage

Do not store above 25°C.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Side Effects

Uncommon side effects:

There have been reports of scalp redness, skin irritation, inflammation and dryness.
If you notice any signs of skin sensitivity (allergy), stop using the product and seek medical advice.
