Clarityn Allergy Syrup contains the active ingredient loratadine, an antihistamine which helps to reduce allergy symptoms by blocking the effects of histamine, produced by the body when it comes into contact with an allergen such as pollen, dust, or pet fur. It can be used to relieve symptoms such as runny nose, itchy eyes, and sneezing.
Suitable for adults and children over two years old, this syrup is ideal for easy and effective treatment during hay fever season. Proving relief that lasts the whole day, so you can enjoy the summer.

Loratadine 5mg/5ml
Other ingredients
Disodium edetate (E386), sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate (E339), maltitol liquid (E965), propylene glycol (E1520), glycerol (E422), phosphoric acid (E338), sodium benzoate (E211), sorbitol liquid (E420), sucralose (E955), artificial mixed berries flavour and purified water.
Children aged 2 to 12 years old weighing 30kg or less:
- Take one 5ml dose once daily.
Children ages 2 to 12 years old weighing more than 30kg:
- Take one 10ml dose once daily.
Adults and children over 12 years old:
- Take one 10ml dose once daily.
For oral use only. Do not take more than one dose in a 24hr period.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 2 years old.
- Do not take Clarityn if you are allergic to loratadine or any other ingredients.
- Do not take if you have severe liver disease.
- Not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Storage
- Store below 25 °C.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Common side effects can include:
- Drowsiness
- Headache
- Increased appetite
- Difficulty sleeping
- Nervousness
Uncommon side effects can include:
- Allergic reaction (such as swelling or shortness of breath), if this occurs seek urgent medical attention.
- Nausea
- Dry mouth
- Rash
