What age to men lose their hair?

Typically, men begin to notice hair loss in their 30s, however this is widely variable based on factors such as genetics, lifestyle, and overall health

Does testosterone cause hair loss?

Testosterone levels are not a direct cause, however, for men with a predisposition for balding. Higher testosterone concentrations can increase dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which can shrink hair follicles and leads to hair thinning. Medications such as finasteride block this conversion reducing DHT’s effects and hair fall.

What vitamins are best for hair health?

A well-balanced diet is important for hair health. While there is no evidence that vitamins can speed up hair growth, deficiencies can cause thinning, and loss. Our recommended supplements are vitamins D and E to maintain a healthy head of hair

Does dehydration effect hair health?

Dehydration won’t directly cause hair to fall out, but it can affect hair follicles and the scalp health which can affect hair growth; overtime causing hair thinning and loss. A dry scalp can also make hair easier to pull out and more brittle when brushing and styling.

Will lack of sleep cause hair loss?

Sleep deprivation and poor-quality sleep both directly affect hair growth. Poor sleep causes disruption in hormone balance and increases stress levels; both of which are linked to hair fall

Does wearing a hat lead to balding?

Occasional hat-wearing won’t cause balding, but ill-fitting hats may cause friction, potentially pulling hairs out, or restricting circulation which is essential for hair health. Medications such as minoxidil can help improve circulation and promote healthier and thicker hair

Can hair loss be reversed?

Depending on the cause and severity, many cases of hair thinning and loss can be slowed and reversed. Influenced by factors such as lifestyle changes, medications, or treatments
