Treathay is a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergies. Such as sneezing, itchy or blocked nose and itchy, red or watery eyes.   

 

It works by blocking the action of histamine, a natural chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction. This helps reduce inflammation and typical allergy symptoms triggered by pollen, dust, and other allergens. 

Active Ingredients

Fexofenadine 120mg 

 

Other Ingredients

Hypromellose (E464), macrogol (PEG 400), macrogol (PEG 4000), titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E172).

Adults and children over 12 years old:

  • Take one tablet once daily with water, preferably before a meal.

Do not take more than one tablet in 24hr period. For oral use only.

Precautions
  • Not suitable for children under the age of 12 years old.
  • Do not take if you have an allergy to fexofenadine or any other ingredients.
  • Tablets may cause drowsiness, do not drive if unfamiliar with tablets effect on you.
  • Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Do not take if you have a history of liver or kidney problems.
  • Avoid taking fexofenadine with any indigestion treatment as it can affect absorption.

 

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Common side effects can include: 
  • Headache  
  • Drowsiness  
  • Feeling sick (nausea)  
  • Dizziness 

 

Uncommon side effects can include: 
  • Difficulty sleeping (insomnia)  
  • Sleeping disorders (such as bad dreams)
  • Nervousness  
  • Diarrhoea
