Sudafed is used to relieve symptoms linked to colds, flu, and allergies, such as a blocked or stuffy nose, catarrh, sinus pressure, and congestion. It contains the active ingredient pseudoephedrine, a non drowsy decongestant that works by narrowing swollen blood vessels in the nasal passages. This helps reduce swelling and mucus build up, making it easier to breathe. It provides temporary relief and should not be used for more than 3-5 consecutive days.
