Simple Linctus (200ml)

Simple Linctus is a traditional cough mixture. It works by coating and soothing the throat to help relieve the symptoms of coughs and provides symptomatic relief. It helps ease irritation, making it more comfortable if you have a dry, tickly or mild chesty cough. It can also help soothe sore throats and make coughing feel less harsh.

Active ingredient

Citric Acid Monohydrate 125mg per 5ml.

Other ingredients

Sucrose, Water, Polysorbate 20 and Star Anise Oil.

Adults and children over 12 years:       

• Take one 5ml spoonful.
• Repeat the dose up to four times a day if required.                                                      

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 12 years unless advised by a pharmacist or doctor. 
• Do not use if you are allergic to citric acid or any other ingredients.
  
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have diabetes, liver disease or are taking other medicines, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• Do not exceed the recommended dose or take more than four doses in 24 hours.
• This product contains 4g grams of sucrose per dose. This should be taken into account in people with diabetes mellitus. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, speak to your doctor before taking this product.

Storage

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children. 
• Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place and keep away from direct sunlight. 
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. 
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging. 

If taken excessively above the stated dose you may experience:

• Mild stomach discomfort 
• Nausea 
• Headache
• Dental Decay
