Paracetamol 500mg Caplets (32)

For the relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat and period pain. Also, for the symptomatic relief of rheumatic and muscular aches and pains, sciatica, fibrositis, lumbago, joint swelling and stiffness, flu, colds and fever. 

Active Ingredients

Paracetamol 500mg

Other Ingredients

Sodium metabisulfite (E223).

Children aged between 6 – 10 years old:

• Give half a tablet every 4 – 6 hours as required.

Do not give more than two tablets in a 24hr period.

10 – 12 years old:

• Take one tablet every 4-6 hours as required.

Do not take more than four tablets in a 24hr period.

12 – 15 years old:

• Take one or one and a half tablets every 4-6 hours as required.

Do not take more than six tablets in a 24hr period.

Adults and children over 16 years old:

• Take one or two tablets every 4-6 hours as required.

Do not take more than eight tablets in a 24hr period.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
• Use at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary?
• Do not exceed the stated dose.  
• Avoid alcohol while taking paracetamol; alcohol increases the risk of liver damage. 
• Don’t take any other paracetamol containing products while taking paracetamol. 
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have liver or kidney problems. 
• Stop use and seek medical advice if pain or fever persists for more than a few days. 

Storage

Store below 25 °C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from moisture. 

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.  

Common side effects can include: 

• Nausea 
• Stomach discomfort 

Uncommon side effects can include: 

• Headache 
• Low blood pressure (rare) 
• Insomnia or agitation (very rare) 
• Sensitivity or irritation around the eyes 
• Allergic skin reactions (mild rash or itching)
