Panadol Advanced 500mg Tablets (16)

Panadol Advance is a pain reliever and fever reducer containing 500 mg of paracetamol in each tablet. Designed to provide fast, effective relief from mild to moderate pain. 

Panadol Advance contains paracetamol which blocks the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and fever. Its Optizorb technology helps the tablet break down up to five times faster than standard paracetamol tablets, meaning the medicine enters the bloodstream sooner for quicker relief.

Active Ingredient

Paracetamol 500mg  

Other Ingredients

Pregelatinised starch, calcium carbonate, alginic acid, crospovidone, povidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica; coating contains opadry white, carnauba wax. 

Children aged 6 – 12 years old:

• Give 1/2 or one whole tablet every 4 – 6 hours.

Do not give more than four tablets in a 24hr period.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take one or two tablets every 4 – 6 hours as needed.

Do not take more than eight tablets in a 24hr period. Can be taken with or without food. For oral use use only.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
• Do not take with other products containing paracetamol to avoid overdose.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems, drink alcohol regularly, or are taking other medicines.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat, sunlight, and moisture. 

Always keep tablets in their original packaging to protect them from air and light, ensure the container is tightly closed after use.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Common side effects can include:

• Mild nausea  
• Upset stomach or abdominal discomfort  
• Feeling slightly unwell shortly after taking a dose

Uncommon side effects can include:

• Skin reactions such as itching or a mild rash 
• Headaches or dizziness 
• Changes in appetite
