Ovex Suspension is an oral suspension designed to treat threadworm (pinworm) infections in the gut. It contains the active ingredient mebendazole, which belongs to a class of medicines called anthelmintics. Mebendazole stops threadworms from absorbing essential sugars they need to survive, causing them to lose energy, die off over a few days, and be passed out of the body in stools. It’s effective with a single dose per person, though a second dose is recommended after roughly two weeks to avoid re-infection.
Active Ingredient
Mebendazole 100mg/5ml

Sucrose, microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, methylcellulose, methylparahydroxybenzoate (E218), propylparahydroxybenzoate (E216), sodium laurilsulfate, banana flavour, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.
