Orajel 10% Dental Gel (5.3g)

Orajel provides fast-acting relief from toothache, gum pain, and discomfort associated with mouth sores. Its medicated gel works locally to numb the affected area, helping to reduce pain and irritation. Suitable for temporary use, Orajel offers quick soothing relief when applied directly to the painful area.

Active Ingredients

Benzocaine 10%

Other Ingredients

Macrogol, polyethylene glycol, sodium saccharin (E954), spearmint flavour, sorbic acid (E200), clove oil.

Adults and children over 12 years old:

• Apply a small amount of gel directly to the affected area using a clean finger or cotton swab.
• Use up to 4 times daily as needed.
• Wash hands before and after application.

For external use in the mouth only.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
• Avoid swallowing large amounts of the gel.
• Do not use if allergic to benzocaine or other ingredients.
• Stop use and seek medical advice if pain persists for more than 2 days, or if severe irritation occurs.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, seek medical advice before use.
• Do not use for more than 4 days at a time.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.

Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Common side effects can include:

• Mild temporary burning or stinging at the application site

Uncommon side effects can include:

• Allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or itching
• Numbness spreading beyond the applied area
