Nurofen 200mg Liquid Capsules (16)

Nurofen Gel Capsules are a fast-acting pain relief medicine containing ibuprofen, designed to help relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce inflammation and fever. 

They contain liquid ibuprofen, which is absorbed into the bloodstream to help reduce pain and inflammation by blocking prostaglandins, substances in the body associated with pain and swelling.

Active Ingredient

Ibuprofen 200mg  

Other Ingredients

Gelatine, sorbitol, purified water, potassium hydroxide, colourants.

Adults and children over 12 years old:

• Take one or two capsules with water, up to three times a day as required.

Do not take more often than every 4hrs. Do not take more than six capsules in a 24hr period. For oral use only.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take if you have previously had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs, or if you have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding.
• Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. 
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have asthma, heart, kidney, or liver problems, or if symptoms persist. 

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Common side effects may include:

• Indigestion  
• Heartburn  
• Nausea  
• Bloating or wind 
• Mild headaches or dizziness 

Uncommon side effects may include:

• Raised blood pressure  
• Worsening of asthma symptoms in people with asthma  
• Fluid retention resulting in the swelling of ankles or feet 
• Stomach ulcers or bleeding
