Numark Cold Sore Cream is a treatment for cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. It contains aciclovir, an antiviral medicine that works by stopping the virus from multiplying, which helps sores heal quicker and can reduce pain and itching. For best results apply at the first sign of tingling or redness and continue through the blister stage.
