Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo 2% (100ml)

Nizoral Shampoo is a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo formulated to help prevent and control dry, flaky, itchy scalps, and recurrent dandruff. It contains ketoconazole, an antifungal treatment that helps create a protective shield from the first wash and provides ongoing relief from dandruff symptoms. All while gently cleansing and moisturising the scalp and hair. Suitable for frequent use and most hair types, this daily prevent shampoo supports a healthy scalp and soft, silky hair, making it ideal for those looking to keep dandruff at bay as part of their regular hair care routine.

Active Ingredients

Ketoconazole 2%

Other Ingredients

Sodium lauryl ether sulfate, disodium monolauryl ether sulpho succinate, coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, laurdimonium hydrolysed animal collagen, macrogol 120 methyl glucose dioleate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, imidurea, hydro chloric acid, erythrosine (E127), purified water.

Adults and children 12 years old and older:

• Wet hair and scalp thoroughly. Massage a small amount of shampoo into the scalp and hair to create a lather.
• Leave in for 3 – 5 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly with water after cleansing.
• Start by using Nizoral twice a week (every 3 – 4 days) for two to four weeks.
• Then use shampoo once every one to two weeks.
• Focus on lathering the scalp rather than just the lengths of hair.

For external use on the hair only.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 12 years old. 
• Avoid contact with eyes. If the shampoo gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not use on broken, inflamed or severely irritated skin.
• Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Discontinue use and consult a doctor/pharmacist if irritation, redness or dryness persists or worsens.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to a healthcare professional before use.

Storage

Store below 25 °C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Common side effects can include:

• Scalp irritation, itching or mild discomfort at the site of use (from cleansing agents)
• Dryness or tight feeling of the scalp

Uncommon or rare reactions may include:

• Redness or irritation persists, especially if the scalp is sensitive or broken
• Allergic reactions (very rare), such as a rash, swelling, or itching beyond mild irritation. Stop use and seek medical advice if suspected.
