Nicotinell Rapid Relief 1mg/Spray is a fast-acting nicotine replacement therapy designed to support adults who want to stop smoking or vaping, or gradually cut down before quitting completely. Each spray delivers 1mg of nicotine and begins working in as little as 30 seconds to help ease cravings and withdrawal symptoms. This spray provides a small, controlled amount of nicotine to help reduce cravings and make the process more manageable. It does not contain tar, carbon monoxide, or the harmful toxins found in cigarette or e-cigarette smoke. The compact design makes it convenient and discreet to use whenever cravings strike. Available to purchase as a single spray or as a convenient bundle of two.

Active Ingredient

One spray delivers 1 mg nicotine in 0.07 ml solution. 1 ml solution contains 13.6 mg nicotine.

Other Ingredients

Propylene Glycol (E1520), Glycerol (E422), Ethanol Anhydrous, Poloxamer 407, Glycine (E640), Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate (E500(Ii)), Levomenthol, Mint Flavor (Contains Benzyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol (E1520), Pulegone), Cooling Agent (Contains Menthol, Menthol Carboxamide, Essential Oil, Propylene Glycol (E1520), Sucralose (E955), Acesulfame Potassium (E950), Sodium Hydroxide (E524), Water Purified.

  • Hold the spray nozzle as close to your open mouth as possible, aiming it towards the inside of your cheek.
  • Press the top of the dispenser to release the spray, taking care to avoid your lips.
  • If your craving continues after a few minutes, use one additional spray.

Precautions

  • Not suitable for children under the age of 18.
  • Do not use more than 2 sprays at a time or 4 sprays per hour for 16 hours. The maximum dose is 64 sprays over 16 hours in any 24-hour period.
  • If you are pregnant consult your doctor before use.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the Patient Information Leaflet.
  • Do not use if you have had a recent heart attack or stroke within the last 3 months, have unstable or resting angina, heart rhythm problems, uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of angioedema or urticaria, severe or moderate liver disease, severe kidney disease, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, phaeochromocytoma, a stomach or duodenal ulcer, or oesophagitis.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.  
  • Use within 6 months after first opening
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
  • Store below 25°C

  • Hiccups
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Throat irritation

 

Common side effects can include:

  • Local effects such as burning sensation, inflammation in the mouth, changes in taste perception.
  • Dry mouth or increased amounts of saliva
  • Feelings of dyspepsia
  • Pain or discomfort in tummy
  • Vomiting, flatulence or diarrhoea
  • Feeling tired
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Tingling
  • Cough
