Nicorette Nasal Spray is a nicotine replacement treatment designed to ease sudden, strong cravings when you stop smoking. It provides a controlled dose of nicotine to help reduce withdrawal symptoms, without the harmful chemicals found in cigarettes. It is particularly suitable for smokers who need rapid relief from intense urges.
Each spray delivers 50 microlitres of solution containing 0.5mg of nicotine. The nicotine is quickly absorbed through the lining of the nose into the bloodstream, helping to relieve cravings fast. Used as part of a structured stop smoking plan, it can support you in quitting successfully.

Other Ingredients
Disodium Phosphate, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Polysorbate 80, ß-Ionone, Methyl And Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate E216 And E218, Disodium Edetate And Water.
Adults and children over 12 years:
- Prime the spray before use. See the information leaflet for instructions.
- Insert the spray tip into one nostril, pointing the top towards the back of your nose.
- Press firmly and quickly.
- Insert the spray tip into the other nostril and repeat the process.
- Check the diagrams in the leaflet for the correct and incorrect way to insert the spray.
- Prime the spray before use. See the information leaflet for instructions.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under the age of 12.
- Adolescents aged 12–17 years of age should seek medical advice before using.
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the Patient Information Leaflet.
- Do not use more than 64 sprays per day.
- Speak to your doctor before using this product if you have liver or kidney disease, an overactive thyroid or phaeochromocytoma, diabetes, a respiratory condition such as asthma, take medicines such as theophylline, clozapine or ropinirole, have ever had seizures, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have heart problems or are in hospital for heart disease, have a stomach or duodenal ulcer, inflammation of the stomach or oesophagus, or are struggling to stop using the nasal spray after quitting smoking or vaping.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Store below 25°C.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
