Lemsip Lemon Cold & Flu Sachets (650mg/10mg)

Active ingredient

Paracetamol 650mg and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 10mg.

Other ingredients

Ascorbic acid (VitaminC), Citric acid, Sucrose, Aspartame, Sodium Citrate, Saccharin Sodium, Caster Sugar, Curcumin (contains Curcumin E100, Lactose, Polysorbate 80E433 and Silica E551) and lemon flavour.

Adults and children 16 and over:

• Dissolve one sachet in a mug of hot, but not boiling, water.  
• Take one sachet every 4-6 hours as required. Do not take more than 4 sachets in 24 hours.  

Additional Information:

• For oral use.  
• If preferred, sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or your usual sweetener.
• If the symptoms of your cold or flu persist for more than five days, or worsen, consult your pharmacist.

Precautions

• This medication is not suitable for children under 16 years old.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose. 
• Do not take with other paracetamol containing products.
• Do not take if you are allergic to any ingredient (see PIL further information)
• You have a serious heart condition.
• You have high blood pressure (hypertension) or an overactive thyroid.
• You are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a medicine called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI),usually used to treat depression.
• You are taking other sympathomimetic decongestants.
• You have an enlarged prostate.
• You have phaeochromocytoma.
• You have diabetes mellitus.
• You have closed-angle glaucoma.
• Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage

• Store below 25°C .
• Keep sachets in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
• Keep sachets in the original box until use.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.  

Uncommon side effects may include:

• Allergic reactions(such as skin rashes).
• Blood disorder.
• Headaches.
• High blood pressure or palpitations.
• Stomach and gut disorder, such as, vomiting, nausea or abdominal discomfort.
• Difficulty in passing urine.
