Active Ingredients
26mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis L.) (equivalent to 104–130mg of Valerian root) Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60% v/v.
Other Ingredients
Extract: Maltodextrin, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica
Core: Hops Extract, Acacia (Spray-dried), Icing Sugar, Magnesium Stearate, Maize Starch, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Stearic Acid.
Coating: Acacia (Spray-dried), Calcium Carbonate (Light), Carnauba Wax, Talc, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide E171, Yellow Beeswax.
Adults over the age of 18:
- Take 2 tablets three times per day with water after meals
- The tablets should be swallowed whole with some water or other liquid.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under the age of 18.
- Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the Patient Information Leaflet.
- Do not take more than 6 tablets in a day.
- Do not take more than the leaflet tells you to.
- For oral short term use only.
- Kalms Day may make you feel sleepy or dizzy. If affected, do not drive or operate machines.
- This medicine contains sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this product.
- It is best not to take any non-essential medication when pregnant or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
- The sedative effects of this medicine may be increased by alcohol. Therefore alcohol should be avoided whilst taking this medicine.
Storage
- Store below 25oC.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.

- Nausea (feeling sick)
- Vomiting
- Abdominal cramps
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhoea
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nightmares or vivid dreams
