General Health Blood Test Kit

Follow this step-by-step guide on how to use Randox’s general health blood testing kits:

Ensure you read the instructions provided in the box and that you understand the directions fully before collecting a sample.

Your test it to be mailed directly to Randox Labs to fully screen your blood sample.

Your results will be sent to the email address provided within 2-3 working days.

Precautions

• This test uses a blood sample. The box includes lancets and a collection tube for safe extraction of a sample.
• Randox labs should you your results within 2 – 3 working days.
• You should not eat for a minimum of 8hrs before taking the test.
• You should stay hydrated with water leading up to your test.
• You should collect your sample on the same day as you send it using the prepaid return envelope before noon. For this reason, we recommend only collect your blood sample Monday – Thursday when sending your sample through Royal Mail. Avoid taking your sample on or close to a bank holiday.
• While all of Randox’s tests are accurate, no test is 100%. They are designed to help you begin your health journey. They should be considered alongside clinical information and discussed with a clinician.
• If your test gives unclear or invalid results, it is usually due to an insufficient sample volume or an incorrect procedure. If this happens, review the directions and repeat the process using a new test. Do not retry using the initial test.

Storage

• Store below 25ºC.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
