Liquid reflux treatment that helps relieve heartburn, acid indigestion and discomfort caused by stomach acid.
Gaviscon Original Peppermint Relief is formulated to help ease the discomfort associated with heartburn and acid indigestion. It works by creating a protective layer on top of the stomach contents, which helps reduce the amount of acid that can move up into the food pipe and cause irritation. This liquid treatment can help manage symptoms of gastric reflux, a condition where stomach acid travels upwards into the oesophagus. By forming a barrier above the stomach contents, it helps calm the burning sensation and discomfort often felt after meals. The formula can also help relieve bloating and gas that may occur alongside reflux symptoms. Its peppermint flavour provides a refreshing taste while helping deliver soothing relief when needed.
Per 10ml: Sodium alginate 500 mg, Sodium bicarbonate 267 mg, Calcium carbonate 160 mg.
