Gaviscon Double Action Liquid Mixed Berries (250ml)

Gaviscon Double Action Mixed Berries is designed to help relieve the discomfort of heartburn and indigestion. Its dual-action formula works by neutralising excess stomach acid while also forming a protective layer over the stomach contents to help stop acid from rising into the food pipe. This helps reduce the burning sensation in the chest and soothe irritation caused by acid reflux. The liquid starts working quickly and provides longer-lasting relief compared with standard antacids, helping you feel more comfortable after meals or when symptoms occur. The mixed berries flavour offers a pleasant alternative for those who prefer a fruity taste while still benefiting from effective reflux relief.

Active Ingredients

Per 10ml: Sodium alginate 500 mg, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 213mg, Calcium Carbonate 325mg.

Other Ingredient

Sodium, Propylene glycol (present in cranberry, raspberry and fantasy fruit flavours), Carbomer, Methyl (E218) parahydroxybenzoates, Propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, Sodium saccharin, Raspberry flavour, Cranberry flavour, Fantasy fruit masking flavour, Sodium hydroxide, Purified water.

Adults and children 12 years and over

• Take 10–20 ml (two to four 5 ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.

Children under 12 years

• Should only be taken on medical advice.

Warnings and Cautions

• Not suitable for children under 12 unless a doctor has advised to use.
• Do not take this product within two hours of taking other medicines by mouth, as it may interfere with how some medicines work.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
• This product contains 127.88 mg sodium per 10 ml, equivalent to 6.4% of the recommended maximum daily intake of sodium for an adult. If you have been advised to follow a low sodium (salt) diet, speak to your doctor before taking this product.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if you have liver or kidney disease, as large amounts of benzyl alcohol can build up in your body and may cause side effects.

Storage

• Do not store above 25°C. 
• Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
