Gaviscon Advance Liquid Mint is designed to provide long-lasting relief from heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion. Its advanced formula works by forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents, helping to prevent stomach acid from travelling up into the food pipe and causing irritation. This helps soothe common reflux symptoms such as a burning sensation in the chest, bloating, a sour taste in the mouth and difficulty swallowing. The liquid works locally in the stomach and is designed not to enter the bloodstream. Gaviscon Advance Liquid Mint offers long-lasting relief that can last for several hours. It also contains a lower level of sodium compared with many other products in the Gaviscon range and has a refreshing mint flavour, making it easy to take when symptoms occur.
