Active Ingredients

Ispaghula husk 3.5g per sachet

Other Ingredients

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take one sachet in the morning and one sachet in the evening.
• Empty the required amount into a glass.
• Add approximately 150ml of cold water.
• Stir well and drink immediately.

Children aged 6–12 years:

• Take ½ to 1 level 5ml spoonful, depending on size and age, in the morning and evening.
• Empty the required amount into a glass.
• Add approximately 150ml of cold water.
• Stir well and drink immediately.

Additional Information:

• For oral use only.
• If there has been no bowel movement after 3 days of treatment, consult a doctor.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 6 years
• Do not take without water.
  
• This product should be taken at least 30 minutes before or after taking any other medication.
• Do not take this medication immediately before going to sleep.
• Do not take more than directed.
• Drink plenty of water if more than the recommended dose is taken.
• Do not use if you are allergic to ispaghula husk or any of the other ingredients listed in the PIL.
• Do not use if you have a bowel blockage, faecal impaction, or reduced bowel muscle activity.
• Do not use if you are taking medicines that may cause constipation, such as codeine or morphine.

Storage

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.  
• Store below 30°C.

Common side effects can include:

• Bloating
• Wind (Flatulence)

Uncommon or rare side effects can include:

• Allergic reactions
