Freederm gel is a spot treatment for mild to moderate inflamed acne (pimples, pus-filled spots) on the face, back or chest, using the active ingredient nicotinamide. Used to reduce redness and size, even helping spots from forming by reaching oil glands. Freederm gel is less drying than some treatments and has a gentle formula that’s cooling, translucent and suitable for most adults and children over 12 years old. 

Active Ingredients

Nicotinamide 4%

Other Ingredients

Aluminium magnesium silicate, hypromellose, citric acid, macrogol lauryl ether, ethanol anhydrous, purified water.

Adults and children over 12 years old:

  1. Wash the affected area and surrounding skin with soap and warm water. 
  2. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel. 
  3. Spread a thin film of gel evenly over the spots and affected areas. 
  4. Apply twice daily; in morning and at night.

For external use only.

Precautions
  • Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
  • Keep away from eyes, nose and mouth; discontinue if irritation occurs. 
  • Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. 
  • When using Freederm on the face take care to keep it away from the eyes and mucous membranes, including of the nose and mouth.
  • Do not apply to any broken, irritated, sunburnt, or eczema-affected skin.
Storage

Store below 25°C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Keep out of sight and reach of children. 

Common side effects can include:
  • Mild skin irritation
  • Redness at site of application
  • Dryness or peeling of skin
  • Itching

 

Uncommon side effects can include:
  • Worsening of inflammation or irritation
  • Rash or contact dermatitis
  • Increase skin sensitivity
