What is Epaderm?

Epaderm Cream and Ointment are dermatologist-developed emollients designed for the whole family to soothe, hydrate, and protect dry skin caused by eczema, dermatitis, and dry skin. Fragrance-free, colouring-free, and irritant free, they form a protective moisture-locking barrier.

Suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and for all ages including babies.

Epaderm holds multiple uses, as a skin hydration apply Epaderm daily as needed directly to dry areas. Ensure Epaderm is massaged into the skin until fully absorbed.

If used as a skin cleanser, replace soap or shower gel with Epaderm, lathering a small amount in the hands and applying to skin. Ensure fully rinsed after use.

Epadern Ointment is also suitable as a bath additive. Dissolve a small amount (approx 4g) in hot water. Allow to cool slightly, and then add to the bath for moisturisation effect.

While Epaderm is suitable for all ages including infants, you should avoid Epaderm if you are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients. Epaderm is for external use only, and you should avoid applying to broken, infected, or weeping skin unless advised by a healthcare professional.

If you experience stinging, redness, or burning after applying Epaderm products, you should discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Epaderm products are flammable as they are paraffin containing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames when using Epaderm. Ensure that fabric which has touched Epaderm is also kept away from a flame; this includes clothing and bedding.

Yes, Epaderm products can be used during pregnancy, and whilst breast-feeding though should not be used directly on the breast area.
