Doublebase Wash Gel is a non-greasy emollient designed to soothe and hydrate dry, irritated, or eczema-prone skin. Containing 15% isopropyl myristate and 15% liquid paraffin, which work together to form a protective barrier, Doublebase locks in moisture and prevents further skin dryness. This formulation is a gentle, non-drying wash solution for cleansing the skin without stripping away moisture, perfect for everyday use on sensitive skin.
Active Ingredients
Isopropyl myristate 15%, liquid paraffin 15%
Other Ingredients
Macrogol cetostearyl ether (cetomacrogol), glycerol, carbomer, sorbitan laurate, trolamine, phenoxyethanol and purified water.
For all ages:
- Apply a small amount to damp skin in the shower or bath.
- Gentle lather and rinse off, leaving the skin clean and hydrated.
For external use only.
Precautions
- Suitable for all ages from birth.
- Avoid contact to eyes and inside the nose.
- Doublebase products are flammable as they are paraffin containing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames when using Doublebase products. Ensure that fabric which has touched Doublebase is also kept away from a flame; this includes clothing and bedding.
- Doublebase products can be used during pregnancy, and whilst breast-feeding. If using when breastfeeding, apply sparingly and only after a feed. Gentle wipe away any remaining product from the nipple areas before the next feed.
- Do not use on broken, infected, or inflamed skin.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Uncommon and rare side effects may include:
- Allergic reaction which can appear as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; sudden red itchy skin rash; wheezing; feeling faint or dizzy.
- Redness or irritation at site of application (usually only occurs when excess use in skin folds).
