Doublebase Gel, Bath Additive, and Shower Wash are non-greasy emollients designed to soothe and hydrate dry, irritated, or eczema-prone skin. Containing 15% isopropyl myristate and 15% liquid paraffin, which work together to form a protective barrier, Doublebase locks in moisture and prevents further skin dryness.
Doublebase Gel is a non-greasy, lightweight gel that provides quick hydration and helps protect the skin from dryness without being sticky.
Doublebase Bath Additive is designed to be added to bath water to help prevent skin dryness and maintain the skin’s moisture balance during bathing.
Doublebase Wash Gel is a gentle, non-drying wash solution for cleansing the skin without stripping away moisture, perfect for everyday use on sensitive skin.

Doublebase Gel:
- For external use only. Apply directly to the affected skin area using clean hands.
- Gently rub the gel into the skin, especially after bathing or washing. Apply up to four times daily for optimal results.
Doublebase Bath Additive:
- Add the required amount to running bath water, ensuring it dissolves completely. Soak in the bath for 10-15 minutes.
- Pat the skin dry afterwards, without rubbing dry.
Doublebase Wash Gel:
- For external use only. Apply a small amount to damp skin in the shower or bath.
- Gentle lather and rinse off, leaving the skin clean and hydrated.
Doublebase is suitable for all ages including children and babies, however should be avoided if you are allergic or sensitive to any of Doublebase’s ingredients.
You should about using on broken, infected, or weeping skin unless advised by a healthcare professional and should discontinue use if any irritation, redness, burning, or stinging occurs following application.
Doublebase products are flammable as it is paraffin containing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames when using Doublebase. Ensure that fabric which has touched Doublebase is also kept away from a flame; this includes clothing and bedding.
Yes, Doublebase can be used during pregnancy, and whilst breast-feeding though should not be used directly on the breast area.
