Diprobase Cream is a gentle, protective emollient developed to relieve dry, irritated, or eczema-prone skin. It works by creating a barrier over the skin with soft white paraffin and liquid paraffin, helping to lock in moisture and prevent further irritation. Ideal for treating conditions such as eczema and dermatitis, Diprobase helps soothe and protect the skin while restoring its natural balance.
White soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, macrogol cetostearyl ether, chlorocresol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium hydroxide, phosphoric acid and purified water.
For all ages:
- Using clean hands, apply a thin layer of cream or ointment to the affected area and gently massage in.
- Diprobase can be reapplied throughout the day as often as needed, particularly advised after bathing or washing.
- Ensure the cream is massaged until fully absorbed.
For external use only.
Precautions
- Suitable for all ages from birth.
- Avoid contact to eyes and inside the nose.
- This product is flammable due to containing paraffin. Do not smoke or go near naked flames when using. Ensure that fabric which has touched this product is also kept away from a flame; this includes clothing and bedding.
- This product can be used during pregnancy, and whilst breast-feeding. If using when breastfeeding, apply sparingly and only after a feed. Gentle wipe away any remaining product from the nipple areas before the next feed.
- Do not use on broken, infected, or inflamed skin.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Uncommon and rare side effects may include:
- Allergic reaction which can appear as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; sudden red itchy skin rash; wheezing; feeling faint or dizzy.
- Redness or irritation at site of application (usually only occurs when excess use in skin folds).
