How do our Digital Scales Work?

Our Digital Scales work by sending a low, safe electrical current through your body. This current moves more easily through lean tissue such as muscle than fat. By measuring the difference, the scale can calculate your body fat percentage, muscle mass, water content, and more. With the large display, these scales are easy to read and an easy-to-use, thanks to their ‘step on’ operation. Designed for multiple users, our Digital Scales have inbuilt memory for up to eight users.

Follow this step-by-step guide on how to use our digital scales:

• Place the scales on a hard, flat surface.

• Stand on the scale with bare feet, ensuring the sensors on the platform are making contact with your skin.

• Keep your body still while the scale performs the reading.

• Wait for the display to show your results, including weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, and more.

• Record your results in the memory of your scale or note them down for tracking progress over time.

• For the most accurate results, take measurements at the same time of day. Preferably, do this after waking up, before eating or drinking.

Precautions

• Digital scales should not be used by pregnant people.
• Device is not suitable for use by people with wearable or implanted devices (such as pacemakers).
• These scales are ideal for those wishing to understand their body composition beyond weight alone.
