Deep Heat Heat Rub is a topical analgesic gel that provides warming relief for muscular aches, pains, and stiffness. It helps soothe everyday discomforts such as backache, rheumatic pain, sciatica, fibrositis, sprains, bruises, and minor sports injuries. The gel combines methyl salicylate for targeted pain relief with warming ingredients such as menthol, eucalyptus oil, and turpentine oil to increase blood flow and provide a soothing heating sensation.
Active Ingredients
Methyl salicylate, menthol, eucalyptus oil, turpentine oil
Other Ingredients
Sodium cetostearyl sulfate, cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, wool fat (lanolin), liquid paraffin, water.
Adults and children over 5 years old:
- Gently massage a thin layer of the cream into the affected area 2–3 times daily.
- Wash hands immediately after use.
- Can be used before or after exercise.
For external use only.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 5 years old.
- Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients or to painkillers such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs.
- Do not apply to broken, inflamed, or infected skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other sensitive areas.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, asthmatic, taking blood-thinning medicines, or have underlying health conditions that may be affected by topical salicylates.
- Discontinue use and seek medical advice if excessive irritation, rash, or persistent symptoms occur.
- Fire hazard: Do not smoke or go near naked flames; clothing and bedding with dried product can catch fire easily.
Storage
Store below 25°C.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Do not use after the expiry date.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Uncommon side effects can include:
- Redness or warmth where the product is applied (usually temporary).
- Mild burning or stinging sensation.
- Light itching or irritation of the skin
- Possible rash
