Day Nurse film-coated tablets are a daytime cold and flu relief medicine designed to ease common viral symptoms. They relieve aches, fever, blocked or runny nose, sore throat discomfort, and dry, tickly cough during the day without causing drowsiness. The capsules combine paracetamol to reduce pain and fever, and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to relieve nasal congestion, targeting multiple cold and flu symptoms in one dose.
Active Ingredients
Paracetamol 500 mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg.
Other Ingredients
Cellulose microcrystalline (E460), silica, colloidal anhydrous (E551), stearic acid (E570), magnesium stearate (E572), starch pregelatinised, povidone, crospovidone, croscarmellose sodium (E468), hypromellose (E464), macrogol, carnauba wax (E903), indigo carmine (E132).
Children aged 12 – 15 years old:
- Take one tablet up to three times a day.
Do not take more often than every 4hrs. Do not take more than three tablets in a 24hr period.
Adults and children over 16 years old:
- Take one or two tablets up to three times a day.
Do not take more often than every 4hrs. Do not take more than six tablets in a 24hr period.
Do not take for more than 7 days. For oral use only.
Precautions
- Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
- Do not take if allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not take with other products containing paracetamol to avoid overdose.
- Do not exceed the stated dose. Seek immediate medical advice if overdose is suspected, even if you feel well.
- Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist, worsen, or new symptoms develop.
Storage
Store below 25°C.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Common side effects can include:
- Mild stomach upset
- Dizziness
- Nausea
Uncommon/rare side effects can include:
- Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, itching), increased blood pressure or heart palpitations or breathing difficulties
Discontinue use and seek medical advice if severe reactions occur.
