Day Nurse Liquid (240ml)

Day Nurse Liquid is a fast-acting daytime treatment for cold and flu symptoms. It provides temporary relief from aches, fever, shivers, sore throat, blocked or runny noses, and dry, tickly coughs without causing drowsiness. This multi-action liquid combines paracetamol to reduce pain and fever, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to relieve nasal congestion, and pholcodine to suppress dry coughs, addressing multiple cold and flu symptoms in one product. 

Active Ingredients

Paracetamol 1000mg/30ml, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60mg/30 ml, pholcodine 10mg/30 ml

Other Ingredients

Glycerol, sucrose, ethanol, glucose, citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, acesulfame K, colour (E101a), peach, pear drop, levomenthol, lime flavours.

Shake bottle well before use.

Adults and children aged 16 years and over:

• Measure using a supplied measuring cup. 
• Take 30ml every 4hrs as needed.

Do not take more than four doses in a 24hr period. Do not take for more than 7 days. For oral use only.

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 16 years old.
• Avoid alcohol when taking this medication. 
• Do not drive or operate machinery if feeling dizzy. 
• Do not use if allergic to any ingredients. 
• Avoid if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, lung conditions, or are taking certain stimulant medications. 
• Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products. 
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if pregnant, breastfeeding, have existing medical conditions, or are taking other medicines. 
• Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond 7 days, worsen, or unusual symptoms occur (difficulty urinating, rash, swelling, or breathing problems). 

Storage

Store below 25ºC. 

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. 

Keep out of sight and reach of children. 

Common side effects may include:

• Dizziness
• Nausea or mild upset stomach 

Uncommon/rare side effects may include:

• Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, itching), heart palpitations or increased blood pressure, breathing difficulties.
