Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream is a dual-action treatment for vaginal thrush. This pack is designed to treat both the infection inside the vagina and the itching, soreness and irritation on the external genital area. The active ingredient in both the pessary and the cream is clotrimazole, an antifungal medicine that stops the growth of the yeast that causes thrush. The pessary is inserted into the vagina where it releases clotrimazole to tackle the infection at the source, while the external cream delivers clotrimazole to the vulva and surrounding skin to ease discomfort and irritation.
