Balneum Intentiv Cream is specially designed to treat dry, and itchy skin. Containing urea to deeply hydrate and soften the skin, and ceramide which provides relief for eczema and dermatitis-prone skin. When used regularly, they help restore moisture, reduce irritation, and support healthier skin.
Active Ingredients
Urea 5%, ceramide
Other Ingredients
Aqua, glycine, soya oil, propylene glycol, cetearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, isohexadecane, sodium lactate, lactic acid, PEG-20 stearate, polysorbate 60, squalane, stearic acid, disodium EDTA, lecithin, tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate, citric and fatty acid esters of glycerol.
For all ages, including babies:
- Using clean hands, apply the cream to the affected areas once or twice a day until symptoms have eased.
For external use only.
Precautions
- Suitable for all ages from birth.
- Avoid contact to eyes and inside the nose.
- Balneum products are flammable as they are paraffin containing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames when using Balneum products. Ensure that fabric which has touched Balneum is also kept away from a flame; this includes clothing and bedding.
- Balneum products can be used during pregnancy, and whilst breast-feeding. If using when breastfeeding, apply sparingly and only after a feed. Gentle wipe away any remaining product from the nipple areas before the next feed.
- You should not use Balneum if you suffer from a skin condition called erythroderma
- Balneum should not be used on broken, infected, or inflamed skin.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Use within 6 months of first opening.
Uncommon and rare side effects may include:
- Allergic reaction which can appear as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; sudden red itchy skin rash; wheezing; feeling faint or dizzy.
- Redness, irritation, itching at site of application (usually only occurs when applied to previously inflamed skin).
