Ashton & Parsons Teething Powder is a treatment applied directly to the affected area to ease mild teething symptoms in babies and young children. These teething powders help relieve discomfort, irritability, and mild pain associated with teething. The powder works by soothing irritated gums where emerging teeth may be causing discomfort to support more comfortable teething. 

Active Ingredients

Tincture of matricaria 0.002ml

Other Ingredients

Lactose

 

Babies aged 3-6 months old:

  • Use a teaspoon to give the powder. Half the contents of one sachet in the morning and the other half in the evening.
  • If restless, you may repeat the dose every 1, 2, or 3 hours if necessary until improvement.

Do not give more than six doses in a 24hr period.

 

 

Babies over 6 months old:

  • Give one sachet in the morning, and one sachet in the evening.
  • Slowly put the powder on the infant’s tongue. Little as a time, to give time for the powder to dissolve.
  • If restless, you may repeat the dose every 1, 2, or 3 hours if necessary until improvement.

Do not give more than six doses in a 24hr period.

Precautions
  • Not suitable for children under 3 months old.
  • For infants and young children only.  
  • Avoid contact with eyes. 
  • Do not use on broken or infected gums.  
  • Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist, worsen, or if the child has other medical conditions. 
Storage

Store below 25°C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Uncommon side effects can include:
  • Allergic Reactions: Rash, tongue sores, or worsening of existing conditions like asthma.
  • Diarrhoea, especially if more than the recommended dose is given.
  • Nausea or vomiting.
