Anthistan Bite and Sting Cream is a topical cream used to relieve itching, redness, and swelling caused by insect bites, stings, nettle rash, and mild skin reactions. It contains an antihistamine that helps block the effects of histamine in the skin, reducing irritation, itching, and inflammation at the site of the bite or sting. 

Active ingredients

Mepyramine maleate 2%

 

Other ingredients

Ceto-stearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 600 monostearate, castor oil, methyl hydroxybenzoate, foin coupe (fragrance), silicone antifoam, and purified water. 

Adults and children over 2 years old:

  • Apply a small amount to the affected area of skin up to 2–3 times daily.
  • Wash hands after use and replace cap. 

For external use only. 

Precautions
  • Not suitable for children under 2 years old.
  • Do not use on broken, infected, or severely irritated skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
  • Do not exceed the recommended usage.
  • If symptoms persist, worsen, or signs of infection develop, seek medical advice.

 

Storage

Store below 30°C.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Common side effects can include:
  • Mild skin irritation, redness, or itching at the application site
  • Burning or stinging sensation at the application site.

 

Uncommon side effects can include:
  • Allergic reactions such as rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling in the lips, face, throat or tongue. If these occur seek urgent medical advice.
