This is a national service provided by the NHS that allows trained pharmacists to safely supply oral contraception. You can use this service to start taking the contraceptive pill or to continue an existing prescription. Our online pharmacy allows you to access this service remotely through a secure and confidential video call with one of our pharmacists, followed by fast delivery of your medication straight to your door.

How does it work?

Using our online NHS contraception service is simple.

First, after you have answered a few short questions, you simply book an appointment at a time that suits you. This is a short video call with one of our trained pharmacists who will review your medical history, ask a few important questions about your health, and ensure the contraceptive pill is safe and appropriate for you.

Who can use this service?

This service is here for you if you’ve started your periods and are up to 49 years old, or up to 54 if you’re choosing the mini-pill (progesterone-only pill). Whether you’re looking to start the contraceptive pill for the first time or need a repeat supply, our pharmacists are here to support you with trusted and accessible advice and treatment.

This service is available to any NHS England patient and is a fully funded NHS programme. This service does not include emergency contraception however (such as the morning after pill), or other contraceptive methods such as injection, patches, coil, or implant. If you need emergency contraception, we offer the morning after pill as part of our private services, easily obtainable quickly and discreetly. For other contraceptive options, your GP or local sexual health clinic will be the best place to help.
