We offer a variety of delivery services all across the UK. We predominantly use Royal Mail to deliver.

Last order dates: prescriptions (NHS and private) must be ordered by Tuesday 31 March, and pharmacy shop orders by Wednesday 1 April at 2pm.

We offer a variety of delivery services all across the UK. We use Royal Mail to deliver our parcels.

Please note delivery countdown will be from the point the pharmacist or prescriber has checked and approved the medication.

The Family Chemist does not take responsibility for any delays in a delivery. A refund for next day delivery will be provided if there is a delay due to the fault of the courier company. Delays due to nationwide stock shortages or issues out of The Family Chemist control would not result in a delivery fee refund. However, we cannot provide you with a refund for the medicine.

If you need your medicine for the next working day please pay for next working day. A delivery is deemed lost after 10 working days. A working day does not include weekends or bank holidays.

(When choosing Local Collect delivery, please ensure you select a Post Office branch that participates in the Local Collect service.)

How long does it take for prescribers to approve my medication? Prescriber approvals can take up to 1 working day. If the prescriber has a question they will reach out to you. Please note we are closed over the weekend.
