Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) Self-Testing
£6.99
A change in discharge colour and odour? Itching or soreness?
These test kits measure the vaginal pH level, an important indicator of vaginal health. A healthy vagina is slightly acidic (in the range of 3.8-4.4), which helps maintain a balance of beneficial bacteria. When the pH rises above the normal range, it can indicate an imbalance, often linked to bacterial baginosis (BV). By detecting changes in vaginal pH, these tests help identify when further assessment or treatment for BV may be needed. If results show a below normal range, this could be an indication of a yeast infection such as thrush, which may also be cause for further assessment or intervention.
